Glen Louis Ogden, Jr. was born September 6, 1939 in Mesa, Idaho the son of Glen Louis Ogden, Sr. and Arvilla Ethel (Wood) Ogden. Glen passed away in Lincoln, Nebraska on November 19, 2012 at the age of 73 years, 2 months, 13 days. Glen was a high school graduate and received his degree from Doane College in 1991. Glen was united in marriage to Lana Rae Lind on July 23, 1960 in Bellevue, Nebraska. Their marriage was blessed with three children, Glen III, Kristin, and Kara. Glen was a helicopter mechanic with the US Civil Service and Nebraska Army National Guard for 38 years, retiring in 1999. He was a member of Avery Presbyterian Church in Bellevue, Nebraska. He was also a member of the Seward Saddle Club where he served as president; he was a Boy Scout leader in Bellevue and a 4-H leader in Seward. Glen is preceded in death by his sister, Sharon Louise Sauer in 1961 and his father-in-law, Raymond Lind in 2012. Survivors who will cherish Glen's memory include his wife, Lana Ogden, Staplehurst; son, Glen Ogden, III, South Sioux City, NE; daughters and son-in-law, Kristin Luebbe, Seward, Kara and Jon Specht, Lees Summit, MO; parents, Glen, Sr. and Arvilla Ogden, Silverton, ID; seven grandchildren, William Tribble, Amanda Chavera, Mathias Hanten, Austin Luebbe, Jacob Ogden, Amahlia Ogden, Esther Specht; one great-grandchild, Mila Chavera; mother-in-law, Glenva Lind, Gretna; brothers and sisters-in-law, James and Nancy Ogden, Indianapolis, IN, Jerry and Jean Ogden, Frederick, CO, Terry and Avis Ogden, Richland, WA; brother-in-law, William Lind, Omaha; nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
