Gloria Jean Schneider was born on March 28, 1950, in Pawnee City, Nebraska to Robert and Irene (Hahn) Buman and passed away on June 14, 2025, in Seward, Nebraska at the age of 75 years, 2 months and 17 days.

Glo grew up near Steinauer before moving to Lincoln after her father got a new job. It was in Lincoln where she attended and graduated from Pius X High School with the class of 1968. After her graduation she started working for NBC Bank in Lincoln for a number of years. She was united in marriage to Don Schneider on August 8, 1970, at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Lincoln. Shortly after their marriage the couple moved to Milford, opening the Milford Mini Mart. Glo did the bookwork for the store and also the cooking. They operated the store for over 41 years before selling it. She then started working as the secretary at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Seward, working for the next 12 years before her retirement on April 15, 2025. Glo was a longtime member and organist for St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church. She had a love for music and enjoyed playing the organ and piano. Glo loved visiting with others and keeping in touch with her friends. She also enjoyed growing flowers and knitting in her free time.

She is preceded in death by her parents; brother, Ron Buman.

Survivors cherishing her memory include her husband of 54 years, Don Schneider of Milford, NE; brother, Dan (Melissa) Buman; sisters-in-law, Sharon Buman, Cindy (Kevin) Sokol; brother-in-law, Bill (Marilyn) Schneider; her best friend of over 50 years, Jan Bell and family; numerous nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
