Harry Dale Fosler was born January 28, 1928 in rural Milford, Nebraska the son of Harry Irl and Cora Estella (Blacker) Fosler. Dale passed away on Sunday, February 13, 2011 in Lincoln, Nebraska at the age of 83 years, 16 days. Dale attended rural school district No. 71 and was a 1945 graduate of Seward High School. On May 27, 1948, Dale was united in marriage to Marian Margaret Ramsay at the Presbyterian Church by the Methodist minister. Their marriage was blessed with five children, Steven Dale, Susan Kay, CoraLynn Ruth "Corky", Carl Shelby, and Clark Harry. Dale was a lifelong farmer and that profession led to many of his interests and memberships as well. Dale was a member of the CampCreek Threshers Antique Machinery Club - Waverly, and former member of the Milford Co-op Board, the Seward Grange, Seward County Zoning Board. He served as a 4-H Leader and a member of the Seward 4-H Foundation. Dale was also a member of the Seward Board of Education and was a school bus driver. Dale was a lifelong member of the Seward United Methodist Church where he was an active member serving on many church committees. Dale is preceded in death by his parents, Harry and Cora Fosler; his brother, Chester Fosler; sister and brother-in-law, Thelma and Lloyd McLarty; infant sister, Merle Joyce; brothers-in-law, Walter Hodde, Keith Heidemann, Maurice "Bud" Graff. Dale is survived by his wife, Marian of Milford; children, Steven Dale Fosler and partner, Mark Smith of Portland, OR; Susan Kay and E.V. Walsh of Seward, and their children, Vince and Jen Walsh, J.B. and Shannon Walsh, Elizabeth and Shawn Troyer, Aaron and Sarah Walsh; CoraLynn Ruth "Corky" and Charles Malmberg of Pender and their children, Julie Malmberg and fiance, Andrew Grawe, Sam and Jenn Malmberg; Carl Shelby and Linda Fosler of Milford and their children, Amanda Fosler and Corissa Fosler and fiance, Geoffrey Gross; Clark Harry and Julie Fosler of Lincoln and their children, Kaitlin Fosler, Molly Fosler, and Max Fosler; nine great-grandchildren, Alexa Walsh, Zoe Walsh, Emily Walsh, Abby Walsh, Evin Walsh, Lyra Walsh, Halley Herring, Maggie Troyer, Grace Troyer; sister, Lois Hodde, Seward; sister-in-law, Florence Fosler, Lincoln; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Jane Graff, Seward, Nancy Radford, Seward, Dorothy Heidemann-Nelson and Don Nelson, Lincoln, Bill and Pat Ramsay, Lincoln, and faithful dog, Nikki.
