Hannah Caroline Krueger was born on January 5, 1923 in Seward to Joseph H. and Amanda (Block) Vogel and passed away on December 7, 2015 at the age of 92 years, 11 months and 2 days. Hannah was baptized into the Lord's family on February 11, 1923 at St. John Lutheran Church in Seward. She confessed her faith in Jesus Christ at her Confirmation on April 5, 1936 at St. John Lutheran Church.
Hannah was a 1940 graduate of Seward High School. After school she worked as a legal secretary for 26 years. On December 21, 1971, she was united in marriage to Ervin Henry Krueger in Seward. Hannah was a lifelong member of St. John Lutheran Church and a member of the Ladies Aid.
She was preceded in death by her husband Ervin in 1995; parents Joseph and Amanda Vogel; three sisters, Lenore and husband Herbert Degner, Ruth and husband Carl Kamprath, and Theresa and husband Ed Boehlke; and two brothers, Chris and wife Esther Vogel and Jonah Vogel.
Hannah is survived by her step children, Alan and wife Barbara Krueger of Hendersonville, NC; Lowell Krueger of Ashland, NE; and Jeanine Oglesby of Culpepper, VA; six grandchildren, three great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 9, 2015, from 1:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at Zabka Funeral Home with the family receiving friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, December 10, 2015, at Zabka Funeral Home with Pastor Scott Bruick officiating. Burial will follow at Seward Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to St. John HOPE Fund.
