Helen Lucille Dunker was born February 10, 1922 south of Ulysses, Nebraska, the daughter of Frances Albert and Clara Helen (White) Pollock and passed away on November 20, 2017 in Seward, Nebraska at the age of 95 years, 9 months, 10 days. Helen was a 1940 graduate of Ulysses High School. After graduation she worked in several homes in Lincoln and Ulysses. On December 11, 1944, Helen was united in marriage to Lyle Cecil Dunker in Seward. To this union three children were born: Sharon and twins, Kenneth and Keith Dunker.   They farmed west of Ulysses until moving to Seward in 1983. She attended the United Methodist Church in Ulysses. Helen enjoyed gardening, flowers, and quilting.

Helen was preceded in death by her parents, Frances and Clara Pollock; her siblings, George, twins, Bill and Mary, Frances, John, and twins, Marvin and Marial "Jean".

Survivors cherishing Helen's memory include her husband, Lyle, Seward; her children and spouses, Sharon and John Holck, Fremont, Kenneth and Kathy Dunker, Columbus, Keith and Diane Dunker, Rising City; five grandchildren and spouses, Brad and Kayla Dunker, Rachelle Holck, Mike and Shirley Holck, Robert Oppliger and Christine Weeks; her six great grandchildren; her brother and sister-in-law, Bob and Doris Pollock, Lincoln; many nieces and nephews.
