Inez Leona (Davis) Davis was born May 8, 1914 at Beaver Crossing, Nebraska to George Washington and Josephine Elizabeth (Craig) Davis and passed away on May 6, 2006 in Seward, Nebraska at the age of 91 years, 11 months, 29 days. Inez attended school at Beaver Crossing and later at Bee, Nebraska. She was married to Glen Elwood Holloway and to this union eight children were born. On August 1, 1959, Inez was united in marriage to Wilbert Orel Davis; they lived most of their married life in Lincoln. Inez attended the United Methodist Church in Seward; she was a member of VFW Auxiliary Post No. 4755 in Seward and was a past State and National Commander of U.S. Army Mothers Post No. S. Inez was also a member of Quill, a writing club and Chapparral, a literary club. She was preceded in death by her parents, George W. and Josephine E. Davis; her husbands, Glen Holloway and Wilbert Davis; her son, Ronald Holloway; daughter, Donna Holloway; sisters, Irene Whitmore and Helen Deitz and brothers, Ernest Davis and Ivan Davis. Inez is survived by her children and their spouses, Robert L. and Anita Holloway of Vallejo, California, Barbara and Jim Barkley of Pine Bluff, Arkansas, Carmen and Everett Couch of Sedalia, Missouri, Glenda Mach of Palmyra, Gregory and Ren Holloway of Bee, Stephen and Maria Holloway of Hixon, Tennessee; 21 grandchildren; 56 great-grandchildren; 12 great-great-grandchildren; other relatives and a host of friends.
