In Loving Memory of Irene A. Keller Irene Anna (Jensen) Keller was born February 15, 1912 in Cordova, Nebraska to Hans Christian and Marie (Kolb) Jensen and passed away on April 20, 2010 at the age of 98 years, 2 months, 5 days. Irene attended school at Cordova Elementary. On August 11, 1937, Irene was united in marriage to Carl Fredrick Keller at Goehner, Nebraska. Their marriage was blessed with three children, Ralph, Kermit and Lowell. The couple was engaged in farming and made their home on a farm near Beaver Crossing for many years. In 1962, they retired and moved into Seward. Irene was employed as a cook at Seward Memorial Hospital. She was a homemaker and enjoyed quilting. Irene is preceded in death by her parents, Hans and Marie Jensen; her husband, Carl Keller in 1997; her son, Ralph Keller and brother, Martin Jensen. Irene is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Kermit and Sue Keller of Gibbon, Lowell and Carrie Keller of Meeteetse, Wyoming; seven grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
