Irma M. (Rezac) Varner was born December 3, 1918 in Dwight, Nebraska to Emil M. and Anna (Wondra) Rezac and passed away in Seward, Nebraska on September 4, 2012 at the age of 93 years, 9 months, 1 day. Irma was united in marriage to Albert "Irvin" Varner on April 4, 1937 in Seward. They farmed near Staplehurst and Osceola and then moved to California in 1957 where Irvin was employed in Canoga Park. Irma and Irvin moved back to Seward in 1999. Irma was a homemaker and attended the United Methodist Church. Irma is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Irvin in 2003; sisters, Mary Ann Rezac, Joan Schaefer, Tillie Schoppe, and Gladys Stava; brother, Emil "Bud" Rezac; nephews, Dick Ehlers, Don Bluhm, Dallas Jess Rezac, Gary M. Stava, Mark S. Stava, Kim K. Stava; and a great-niece, Leslie D. Schaefer. Irma is survived by her nieces and nephews, Rebecca and Duff Campbell, Steve and Debi Schaefer, Debby and Jim Aegerter, all of Seward; Mike Schaefer, Lincoln, Jim and Fran Ehlers, Roger and Marie Ehlers, all Seward; Betty Bluhm, Lincoln; Chris and Deb Ehlers, Muskogee, OK; Judy Nemyer, Fairfax, MO, LeeAnn Varner, Cumberland, RI, Carl Varner, Yucca, AZ, Sharon Reimer, Rusellville, AZ; several great-nieces and great-nephews and great-great nieces and great-great-nephews.
