James Aloysius Ostgren was born on Tuesday, June 4, 2013, at 9:08 p.m. to Mitch and Erica (Bjornstad) Ostgren at St. Elizabeth Regional Medical Center in Lincoln. He weighed 5 pounds, and was 17 inches long. James' family was blessed with almost nine hours with Baby James before he went to his heavenly home on Wednesday, June 5 at 6:05 a.m. James is deeply loved by his mother and father, big sister Julia, his grandparents, his great-grandparents, his aunts and uncles, his cousins and many others who have prayed for him and his family. Visitation will be held on Friday, June 7, 2013, from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Zabka Funeral Home in Seward, and will resume at 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with a Rosary at 7:30 p.m. at St. Vincent De Paul Catholic Church in Seward, 152 Pinewood Ave. The Divine Mercy Chaplet will be sung at 10:00 a.m. prior to mass. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, June 8, 2013, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Seward. Burial will follow at Seward Cemetery. In lieu of Flowers, memorials may be given to the family.
