Jazmin Irene Lopez was born on April 12, 2003, in Lincoln, Nebraska to Gerardo and Holly (Schultz) Lopez and passed away at her home on July 31, 2022, at the age of 19 years, 2 months and 19 days.

Jazmin grew up in Seward where she attended and graduated from Seward High School with the Class of 2021. While in school she worked at Ridgewood Rehabilitation Center. Jazmin was employed at The Alps Bark Park in August of 2021 and became their Senior Adventure Guide. She had a deep love for all animals and had recently adopted her dog, Lily, from the Humane Society. For the past few years, she also enjoyed her pet fish named Rick. Jazmin loved her Ag classes in high school and looked forward to taking the animals home over the summer to care for them. She played soccer during high school and had a love of photography where she won several awards. Jazmin had a twin sister, Dani, and they were attached at the hip since birth.

Jazmin is preceded in death by her grandma, Judy Schultz; grandpas, Jose Lopez and Ray Rojas; uncle, Daniel Schultz.

Survivors cherishing her memory include her parents; sisters, Leslie Lopez and Danielle Lopez, Seward; grandpa, Tyrone Schultz, Utica; grandma, Pavi Pedroza, Mexico; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and a host of friends.
