Jeffrey Robert Brester was born on August 27, 1959, in West Point, Nebraska to Lumier and Doris Ann (Baumert) Brester and passed away on October 26, 2021, in Lincoln, Nebraska at the age of 62 years, 1 month and 29 days.

Jeff grew up on a farm near Howells, Nebraska. They later moved to Lincoln in 1967, and then moved to Grand Island, Nebraska where he graduated from Northwest High School with the Class of 1977. Jeff began working at Kawasaki in 1979 and continued there for the next 42 years. He worked in many different departments including mules, motorcycles, railcars and seats. Jeff loved deer hunting, riding motorcycles, playing darts and working in his garden. He also enjoyed baking, cooking and using his smoker, driving his golf cart, shooting off fireworks during the Fourth of July and drinking beer. Jeff was of the Catholic faith.

Jeff was preceded in death by his father, Lumier Brester.

Jeff is survived by his wife, Vicki Brester; children, Heather and husband, Jeremy Slama, Wilbur, Dalton Brester and significant other, Raeleigh Pracheil, Dwight; grandson, Jackson Slama; mother, Doris Ann Brester; five brothers, Ron and wife, Debbie Brester, Lincoln, Don and wife, Robin Brester, Lincoln, Randy Brester, Florida, Jim and wife, Jeanelle Brester, Lincoln and Jerry Brester, Lincoln; parents-in-law, Chuck Morgan, Lincoln, Sharon Towle, Lincoln; brother-in-law, Chuck Morgan, Lincoln; sister-in-law, Karen and husband, Steve Staskiewicz, Omaha, and Theresa Lyman, Lincoln; numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, great-great nieces, cousins and many friends. To this obituary we add our thought, prayers and memories of a life shared with Jeff.
