Jerry incorporated with his brother Lloyds family and eventually expanded their operation totaling over 10,000 acres of Sandhills and flat farm ground, near the Niobrara River. Jerry retired and he and Marjorie moved near Bee, Nebraska in 2000, to be closer to his grandchildren. Jerry was also a creative and prolific woodworker.
