Jeramie Jon Schoepf was born August 31, 1977 in Seward, Nebraska , the son of Bruce Allen and Karel Ann (Oborny) Schoepf and passed away on March 7, 2014 in Lincoln, Nebraska at the age of 36 years, 6 months, and 7 days. Jeramie attended Seward Public Schools, where he was active in the wrestling program, graduating in 1996. Jeramie attended the University of Nebraska -Kearney for one year. He was united in marriage to Kimberly Williams on October 2, 1999 and their marriage was blessed with two daughters, Emma and Mikah. Jeramie was an active member of St. Vincent dePaul Catholic Church, where he and Kim served as Godparent Leaders for two groups. Jeramie was also a member of the Knights of Columbus, Counsel No 8469, Seward. For over 10 years, Jeramie has been the Seward High School Assistant wrestling coach. Jeramie was very active with USA Wrestling as a referee and Nebraska Team member; a Huskerland Wrestling referee; USSA and NSAA softball and baseball umpire, former Seward Rec. softball umpire , and the Seward Youth and Community Club. For the past 12 years, Jeramie was a dedicated employee of the City of Seward street maintenance department.
Jeramie was preceded in death by his father, Bruce Schoepf; his father-in-law, Richard Williams, his grandparents, Adolf and Clara Oborny, Bill and Helen Schoepf, Melvin and Ina Williams, and Bernard and Roberta O'Hern. Survivors include his wife, Kimberly, Seward; his daughters , Emma and Mikah, Seward; his mother, Karel Schoepf, Seward; sister s and brothers, Jessica Schoepf, Seward, Jeff Schoepf, Beaver Crossing, Jennell Schoepf, Seward, Josh and Cari Schoepf, Seward; his mother-in-law, Patricia Williams, Fullerton, NE; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Cindy Schreiber, Schuyler, NE, Lisa Williams, Central City, NE, Jack and Nan Williams, Omaha, NE, Keith and Jess Williams, Fullerton, NE, Alan Williams, Ravenna, NE; 14 nieces and nephews, 10 great nieces and nephews; several aunts and uncles, and numerous cousins.
