Jerry Lee Huggins was born on July 26, 1941 in Polo, Missouri to Lars Albert and Lou Elaine (Hill) Huggins and died October 9, 2009 in Lincoln, Nebraska at the age of 68 years, 2 months and 14 days. Jerry attended Clinton Elementary and Whittier Middle School through the 9th grade. He was employed by Bryan's Sodding, Bishops Cafe, General Steel and most recently for the City of Lincoln Sanitation Department. Jerry enjoyed coon hunting, fishing, riding horses, watching Husker football and spending time with family, especially his grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, Lars and Lou Huggins and is survived by his daughters and son-in-law, Christy and Curtis Franks of Ashland, NE, Shalla Spangler of Lincoln, Shanna Huggins and her fiance', Routh Savath of Seward; grandchildren, Nick Huggins, Stephanie Huggins, Carissa Spangler, Rachel Huggins, Miranda Huggins, Sonlee Prack, Clio Spangler and Callina Pham; brothers and sister-in-law, Milton and Betty Huggins of Kansas City, MO, Wayne Huggins of Lincoln; sisters and brothers-in-law, Erma and Les Wilson of Ulysses, Kay and Jim Nave of Seward; half sister, Alberta Weddle of Oklahoma; many nieces and nephews.
