Obituary

?Jerry Wilburn Lovelady was born December 26, 1938 in Blytheville, Arkansas, the son of James Wilburn and Anna Louise (Via) Lovelady and passed away June 16, 2016 at his home in Goehner, Nebraska at the age of 77 years.

Jerry was a 1957 graduate of West Memphis High School in Arkansas. He served in the U.S. Army from 1962 through 1964. He was employed at the U.S. Postal Service; in the automotive parts service business working for Kirk Motors and McGinnis Ford, both in Lincoln, and Lovelady Ford in Wisner; and the Nevada Test Site. Jerry lived in Wisner, NE; Las Vegas, Nevada from 1986 to 2001; and then moved to Goehner, Nebraska in 2001.

Jerry was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Thomas.

Jerry is survived by his children, Michael J. Lovelady, and wife, Jessica, and Kimberley Lovelady, all of Las Vegas, NV; one granddaughter, Abby Lee Lovelady, also of Las Vegas; his sisters Anita Ham, and husband Jerry, of Wellston, OK; and Liz Abbott, of Bakersfield, CA; his brothers Louis Lovelady, of Lake Havasu, AZ; Richard Dennis Lovelady, and wife Jennifer, of Las Vegas, NV; sister-in-law Donna Shields, of Seward, NE; and several nieces and nephews and friends.

Graveside services will be held Thursday, June 23, 2016, at 1:00 p.m. at Lincoln Memorial Park Cemetery, Lincoln, Nebraska with military honors.
