Jesse White was born April 22, 1942 in Tilden, Nebraska to James Earl and Sadie Rosetta (Butler) White and passed away in Seward, Nebraska on March 28, 2007 at the age of 64 years, 11 months, 6 days. Jesse attended public schools in Tilden and Scribner, Nebraska. On September 24, 1964 he was united in marriage to Phyllis Mardell Potter in Craig, Nebraska. To this union three sons were born, Kelly, Kirt and Billy. Jesse and Phyllis had been residents of Bee, Nebraska since 1977. Jesse was employed as a Feed Truck driver with United Farmers Cooperative in Utica. He was a Life Member of the North American Hunting Association. Jesse was preceded in death by his parents, James and Sadie White; his son, Billy White; two sisters, June Cook and Eula Waegli; fathers-in-law, Billy Potter and Clifford Russell and his sister-in-law, Bonnie Summers. Jesse is survived by his wife, Phyllis White of Bee; his sons and daughters-in-law, Kelly and Cathy White of Carrollton, Texas, Kirt and DeAnn White of Lincoln; two grandchildren, Sarah and Jarod White of Lincoln; sister and brother-in-law, Freda and Dick Best of Gresham; nieces and nephews; cousins, mother-in-law, Doris Russell of Seward; brothers-in-law and spouse, Roger and Marlene Russell of Peoria, AZ, Rodney Russell of Phoenix, AZ; sisters-in-law and spouses, Judy and Dave Woodward of Scottsdale, AZ, Jackie and Bryant Shaw of Phoenix, AZ, Lavohn Pahlke of Beaverville, IL, Kay Miller of Omaha, Mayone and Richard Japp of Washington, NE; other relatives and a host of friends. To this obituary we add our thoughts, prayers and memories of life shared with Jesse. |
