Jodi Jean Earl was born in Seward, Nebraska on July 10, 1971, to Gerald Henry and Damaris Ann (Bock) Brase and passed away in Omaha, Nebraska on March 3, 2020, at the age of 48 years, 7 months and 22 days. Jodi was baptized on August 1, 1971, at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church in Staplehurst.

Jodi grew up in Seward and attended Our Redeemer Lutheran School and later St. John Lutheran School through the 9 ^th grade. Jodi was confirmed on May 5, 1985 at St. John Lutheran Church. She then attended and graduated from Seward High School with the Class of 1989. After high school Jodi attended Spencer School of Business in Grand Island and graduated in 1990. She later attended Concordia University, Nebraska earning a B.A. in 1997. On January 30, 1999, Jodi was united in marriage to Jeffrey Earl at St. John Lutheran Church in Seward. The couple made their home on the farm east of Lincoln. Jodi worked at several places including Wells Fargo, St. Elizabeth's CHI and later at Lincoln Surgical Hospital. She was also a Mary Kay Consultant for a number of years. Jodi loved spending time with her family, friends and especially her beloved nieces. She enjoyed reading, watching movies and going for walks. Jodi was a member of Peace Lutheran Church in Waverly where she served on the LWML.

Jodi was preceded in death by her father, Gerald Brase; grandparents, Carl and Virginia Bock and Elvira Brase; stepbrother, Jason Clagg; two aunts and uncles, Karen and husband Ken Andelt, Sharilyn and husband Gene Lange; uncle, Kenneth Brase.

Survivors include her husband, Jeff Earl; parents, Damaris and Jack Clagg; parents-in-law, Gary and Sandy Earl; two brothers, Jason and wife Jennifer Brase and their three daughters, Jalynn, Jeana and Janessa, Joel and wife Cathy Brase and their daughter, Ella; stepsister, Suzanne Carson; stepbrother, Steve Clagg; sister-in-law, Barb and husband Doug Standage; aunt, Ila and husband Ron Deinert; cousins, Brad and wife Jeanne Andelt, Vicki and husband Doug Russell, Amy and husband Brad Johnson, Randy and wife Jolene Deinert, Chad and wife Beth Deinert, Rod and wife Sharon Lange, Kent and wife Lynne Lange and Steve Lange.
