Jodie Lynn Brackett was born on August 16, 1964, in West Covina, California to Richard and Louise (Diceman) Olson and passed away on June 7, 2024, at her home with her family by her side at the age of 59.

On February 22, 1986, she was united in marriage to Dale Brackett in El Monte, California. To this marriage three children were born. Jodie recently battled lung cancer. She was a wife, mother, grandma and daughter. Jodie was and will always be Dale's soul mate, best friend and the love of his life. She was a person who loved taking care of her family. Jodie especially enjoyed baking Christmas cookies and she loved to curl up in a blanket to read a John Graham book or listen to her music.

Jodie was preceded in death by her father, Richard and one brother.

Survivors cherishing her memory included her husband, Dale Brackett of Tamora; son and daughter-in-law, Craig and Kylie Brackett of Staplehurst, daughter and son in-law, Shannon and Reed Settje of Creston, Nebraska, son Brandon Brackett of Tamora; six grandchildren, Caleb, Logan, Lily, Bria, Avery, Jordin; her parents, Louise and Edward; brother and sister-in-law, and several nieces and nephews.
