John William Mueller, Jr. was born on August 1, 1930, in Seward, Nebraska to John William Sr. and Theodora Natalia (Fiehler) Mueller, and passed away on November 19, 2020, in Seward, Nebraska at the age of 90 years, 3 months and 18 days.

John grew up in Seward where he attended St. John Lutheran School and graduated from Seward High School with the Class of 1948. He worked with his father in a building contracting business for many years and was later a self-employed carpenter. He worked as a handyman and aide at several daycare facilities. A humble man, he touched many lives. John was a lifelong member of St. John Lutheran Church.

John was preceded in death by his parents; four brothers, Reinhold Mueller, Willard Mueller, Raymond Mueller, Edgar Mueller; four sisters, Bernice (Henry) Luebbe, Mildred (Bert) Baldinger, Elizabeth (Richard) Murphey, Harriet (Enno) Klammer.

Survivors include his sister, Verna Wied; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. To this obituary we add our thoughts, prayers and memories of a life shared with John.
