Jon Daniel Hartmann was born on April 17, 1959, in Seward, Nebraska to William and Doris (Woebbecke) Hartmann and passed away on June 28, 2021, in Lincoln, Nebraska at the age of 62 years, 2 months and 11 days.

Jon was raised in the Garland area where he was baptized and confirmed at Zion Lutheran Church. He attended and graduated from Seward High School with the Class of 1978. Jon worked his entire life for Hartmann Construction alongside his father and brother, Andy. On July 7, 1990, Jon was united in marriage to Sharon Maca at the State Capital, witnessed by Bob Wiemer and Kathy Moser.  Jon loved watching his kids during their activities. He enjoyed watching all Husker sporting events and he loved the Green Bay Packers. Jon loved everyone and enjoyed joking around with people. He was a member of Hillcrest Evangelical Free Church.

Jon was preceded in death by his father, William and brother, Paul.

Survivors cherishing his memory include his wife, Sharon, Seward; three sons, John and wife, Darcy Gleisberg, El Paso, TX, Japheth and wife, Cheyenne Hartmann, Lincoln, Elisha Hartmann, Seward; two daughters, Kaela Stuhr, York, Emly and husband, Patrick Daberkow, Seward; 10 grandchildren: Ariel Stuhr, Orion Stuhr, Maddy Stuhr, Cali Stuhr, Kinley Daberkow, Brynn Daberkow, Roman Daberkow, Blake Daberkow, Floyd Gleisberg and John Otto Gleisberg; mother, Doris Hartmann; brother, Anthony (Andy) Hartmann; nephew, Zac and wife, Lauren Hartmann; niece, Jennifer and husband, Evan Ells.
