Jonathan William Luethke was born on October 18, 1974, to Edward and Patricia (Schmitt) Luethke and passed away on June 26, 2024, in Bee, Nebraska at the age of 49 years, 8 months and 8 days. Jonathan was baptized on October 27, 1974, and confirmed on March 19, 1989, at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church.
Jonathan grew up in Staplehurst and attended Seward High School, graduating with the Class of 1993. He worked for Metro Mail and Henningson Foods in David City. Jonathan was later employed at Kawasaki. On May 31, 2008, he was united in marriage to Amy (Hill) Luethke at the Seward United Methodist Church.
Jonathan loved to fish and play horseshoes. He enjoyed attending Husker football games, tailgating, and traveling anywhere and everywhere to watch them play. Jonathan loved to socialize with friends, and he was always willing to help everyone. He was currently residing in Bee.
Jonathan was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Amy Luethke; infant brother, Steven Luethke, brother, Daniel Luethke; aunt and uncles, Norman Schmitt, Ralph and Elaine Luethke, Paul Ehlers.
Survivors cherishing his memory include his sister and brother-in-law, Jacqueline (Dean) Gocke, Seward; niece and nephew, Dalton Gocke, Kayla (John) Shook; great-niece and great-nephews, Nadia, Calvin and Elijah Shook; mother-in-law, Juanita Hill, Seward; aunts and uncles, Colleen (Dave) Cingle, Papillion, Shirley Ehlers, David City, Bob (Marilyn) Schmitt, David City, Helen Schmitt, Hastings.
