Josephine Elizabeth (Quattrocchi) Hain was born on September 26, 1932 in Lincoln, Nebraska to Joe and Elvira (Ferraro) Quattrocchi and passed away on September 25, 2005, in Seward, Nebraska at the age of 72 years, 11 months, 29 days. Josephine was a 1951 graduate of Lincoln High School and a 1954 graduate of St. Elizabeth Nursing School in Lincoln.
On November 18, 1954, Josephine was united in marriage to Leo J. Hain in Lincoln, Nebraska. To this union 12 children were born. The couple lived all of their married life on their farm west of Ulysses; retiring to Seward in 1989. Josephine was a former member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Ulysses and currently was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Seward. She enjoyed her grandchildren, dancing, gardening, quilting, reading, playing cards and her extension club. Josephine was a woman of quiet prayer who led her family by example.

Preceding Josephine in death were her parents, Joe and Elvira Quattrocchi; her husband, Leo J. Hain, in 2004, a stillborn son, her brother, Santo Quattrocchi and brother-in-law, George Andreas.

Josephine is survived by her children and spouses, Carol and Dan Cheek, Wichita, Kansas, Jerry and Monica Hain, Norfolk, Raymond and Kathryn Hain, Jerusalem, Israel, Cathy Hain and Tom George, Albuquerque, New Mexico, Joe Hain and Janet Rodman, Arlington, Virginia, Alice and Brad Price, Papillion, David Hain, Milan, Italy, Janet and Jeffrey Bohaty, Seward, Jim Hain, Ashland, Margaret and Jim Voboril, Pleasant Dale, Richard and Vicki Hain, David City, JoAnn Hain, Lafayette, Colorado; 19 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; sisters and brother-in-law, Antoinette Ann Andreas, Lincoln, Dorothy and Lawrence Lococo, Lincoln; brothers and sisters-in-law, Joe and Pat Quattrocchi, Ashland, Louie and Terri Quattrocchi, Ord; other relatives and friends.
