Joyce Darlene (Walters) Fiala was born July 3, 1945 in Corning, Kansas to Willis Wilford and Elizabeth Frances (Rethman) Walters and passed away on March 9, 2009 in Seward, Nebraska at the age of 63 years, 8 months, 6 days. Joyce attended Catholic Grade School in Corning, Kansas. On March 30, 1964, Joyce was united in marriage to Charles Dwayne Fiala in Corning and they moved to Garland in 1969. Their marriage was blessed with four children. Joyce attended St. Vincent DePaul Catholic Church in Seward. She was preceded in death by her parents, Willis and Elizabeth Walter; her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Charles J. and Anastacia Fiala and her brothers-in-law, Lester Morrison, Jerry Warford, Jerry Kane, Cy Hain, Bernie Maloney and Donald Fiala. Joyce is survived by her husband, Charles D. Fiala of Garland; her daughters and sons-in-law, Stacey and Bryan Brandenburgh of Raymond, Sandra and Brian Bauer of Fairbury; sons and daughters-in-law, Tim and Kim Fiala of Garland, Dean and Carol Fiala of Wahoo; grandchildren, Amanda Brandenburgh, Zachary Brandenburgh, Kyle Bauer, Blake Bauer, Matthew Fiala, Karissa Fiala, Brandi Fiala, Jamie Fiala, Derek Fiala, Shauna Fiala; sisters and brothers-in-law, Dorothy and Ray Deters, Edie and Skip Broxterman, Mary Morrison, Lela Walters, Helen and Louie Hurla, Wanda and Dave Horton, Barb Warford, Janet and Mark Valentine; brothers and sisters-in-law, Lyle and Cindy Walters, Larry and Patty Walters, David and Marsha Walters; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Ann Kane, Ed and Bernie Fiala, Delores Hain, Margret Maloney, Stan and Sally Fiala, Ray and Marla Fiala; other relatives and a host of friends.
