In Loving Memory Joyce M. Kovar Joyce Marie Kovar was born April 4, 1939 in Seward, Nebraska to Anton and Mary (Rezac) Kovar and passed away in Lincoln, Nebraska on November 23, 2010 at the age of 71 years, 7 months, 19 days. Joyce attended Leahey School and was a 1956 graduate of Seward High School. She was employed in the Agronomy Department at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln for 30 plus years, retiring in 2000. Joyce enjoyed playing cards, reading, and was an avid Big Red Fan. Joyce is preceded in death by her parents, Anton and Mary Kovar; her brothers, Ted Kovar, Leo Kovar and Anton Kovar, Jr.; brothers-in-law, Jake Frickel, and Dean Glasscock; nephews, Doug Glasscock and Doug Frank. Survivors include her sisters, Lorrene Kovar and Dorothy Frickel, both of Lincoln and Delores Glasscock of Seward; niece and nephew, Deb Frank and Rick Glasscock; great nieces and great nephews, Bobbi Blath, Alicia McVey, Gil Frank, Ryon Blath, Brandy Glasscock; great-great nieces and great-great-nephews, Dhusty Blath, Dylon Blath, Taylor McVey, Hanna Howell. To this obituary we add our thoughts, prayers, and memories of life shared with Joyce. |
