IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Julie Jo
Wisehart
April 21, 1943 – January 18, 2025
Julie Jo (Stoeber) Wisehart was born on April 21, 1943, in Norfolk, Nebraska to Harold and Leone (Harrison) Stoeber and passed away on January 18, 2025, in Seward, Nebraska at the age of 81.
Julie was baptized and confirmed at Christ Lutheran Church in Norfolk. She attended Christ Lutheran Middle School and Norfolk High School. Julie was united in marriage to Charles Wisehart on September 22, 1962, at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Humphrey, Nebraska. They lived in Humphrey until 1966, before moving to Omaha until 1968. They then made the move to Seward where Chuck was assigned with the Nebraska State Patrol. Julie was employed at Robert's Dairy Store and then worked at Gambles Furniture and Appliance. In March of 1979, Chuck and Julie purchased the Rivoli Theatre. For years, Julie poured her heart into making the Rivoli more than just a theatre, it was a gathering place, a home for stories, and a symbol of what made Seward so special.
Julie enjoyed writing, photography, and giving gifts. She was a wonderful, kind woman with a beautiful smile, zest for life, and shared amazing travel adventure stories. She had great love for her family, friends, movies, and all the patrons of the theatre.
Julie was a member of the General Federation of Women's Club (GFWC), Seward Area Chamber of Commerce and the National Association of Theatre Owners. She was the Outstanding Woman in Business Award recipient at Concordia University, Nebraska in 2010. Julie was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church.
