Karoline H. (Höehler) Patsch was born on December 16, 1924, in Naurod, Germany to Wilhelm and Anna (Beltz) Höehler and went to her heavenly home on December 12, 2022, at the age of 97 years, 11 months and 26 days.

Karoline grew up and attended school in Weisbaden, Germany where she met the love of her life, John J. Patsch, while he was stationed there with the U.S. Air Force. They were united in marriage on November 16, 1950, in Weisbaden and to this union six children were born: William "Bill", Jacqueline, Charmaine, Jeannette, Renee and John. They spent the next years traveling to various Air Force bases throughout the U.S. and Puerto Rico. They were last stationed at the U.S. Air Force Base in Lincoln, Nebraska and found their forever home in Garland, Nebraska.

Karoline was known as a bit of an "animal whisperer" who cared for a menagerie of animals throughout her life. She loved all sports, especially her Yankees and cheering on her children and grandchildren. Above all, Karoline loved her Lord and Savior and her family with her whole heart. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church and the Garland American Legion Auxiliary. Karoline was one classy lady who will be missed by all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, John Patsch; brothers, August Höehler, Karl Höehler; sister, Annie Scheipper; son-in-law, Douglas Ocken; great-granddaughter, Taryn Blair; nephew, Karl Heinz and wife, Jan Höehler.
