Kathleen M. Lostroh

Kathleen Margaret (Hass) Lostroh was born October 4, 1942 in San Diego, California, the daughter of Ewald John Frederick and Lorene Flora (Imig) Hass. Kathleen spent her last days surrounded by her family and passed away on December 10, 2016 in Lincoln, Nebraska at the age of 74 years, 2 months, 6 days. Kathleen attended St. Paul's Parochial School in Malcolm through the 8th grade and was a 1960 graduate of Malcolm High School. Following graduation she worked for Farm Bureau. On June 19, 1964, Kathleen was united in marriage to Leon Dean Lostroh at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Malcolm. Their marriage was blessed with three daughters: Kelly, Stacey and Deborah. Kathleen was a busy farm wife and mother and was actively involved at Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, helping in the office and serving on the funeral committee. She was also a former member of the Malcolm Fire Department Women's Auxiliary and enjoyed quilting at the United Methodist Church in Malcolm.

Kathleen was preceded in death by her parents, Ewald and Lorene Hass.

Survivors cherishing Kathleen's memory include her husband, Leon Lostroh, Pleasant Dale; daughters and their spouses: Kelly and Mark Porath, Malcolm, Stacey and Dennis Meier, Lincoln, Deborah and Sean Webster, Malcolm; grandchildren: Zachary Porath, Allyson Porath, Dillon Meier, Sydney Meier, Tyler Webster, Meaghan Webster; uncle, Oris Hass, Seward and a host of friends.
