Obituary

Keith LeRoy Miller was born June 16, 1951 in Lincoln, Nebraska, the son of Raymond and Helen (Friedrich) Miller and passed away on July 4, 2013 at his home, rural Seward, Nebraska at the age of 62 years, 18 days. Keith was baptized on June 16, 1951 at Bryan Hospital in Lincoln and confirmed on July 24, 1977 at St. John Lutheran Church, Seward. He was a 1969 graduate of Crete High School. He received a degree from Southeast Community College in Milford. On October 25, 1975, Keith was united in marriage to Cathy Jo Ficken; their marriage was blessed with three sons, Benjamin, Matthew and Adam. He was employed with Cengas for a short time and then was employed with Tenneco for 33 years. Keith was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Seward and a 30 year member of the Tamora Volunteer Fire Department. Keith is preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Helen Miller; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Elmer and Darleen Ficken; son, Benjamin Miller in August of 2012; and his brother-in-law, James Ficken. Keith is survived by his wife, Cathy Miller, Seward; sons, Adam and Matthew J. Miller; both of Seward; two grandchildren, Cooper and Ryleigh Miller; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Cheryl and John Vogt of Houston, TX; aunts and uncles, Esther Beckman, Seward, Darrell and Ethel Naber, Sparta, MI, Dorothy Beekley, Dorchester, Mary Ann and Lloyd Reiss, Crete, Kenneth and Marge Friedich, Omaha; nieces and nephews; several cousins and a host of friends. To this obituary we add our thoughts, prayers, and memories of life shared with Keith.
