Kevin R. Rech

Kevin Roy Rech was born February 17, 1956 in David City, Nebraska the son of Denis Dan and Geraldine Rose (Timms) Rech and passed away in David City, Nebraska on July 21, 2017 at the age of 61 years, 5 months, 4 days. Kevin attended Assumption Parochial School for eight years and was a 1974 graduate of David City Aquinas High School. Kevin was employed at the Coop in Dwight/Brainard for several years and in 1988 began his longtime employment with Hughes Brothers in Seward.

Kevin was an avid hunter and fisherman; finding great joy in sharing the outdoors with family and friends. He was a member of Assumption Catholic Church in Dwight.

Survivors cherishing Kevin's memory include his son, Lucas of Casa Grande, AZ; his siblings and spouses: Bonnie (Rech) Jakub of Lincoln, Michelle "Mitz" (Rech) and William Hotovy of Dwight, Renee (Prochaska) and Paul Polacek of Wahoo, Brad Prochaska of Dwight; mother of their son Maureen Brophy of Casa Grande, AZ; numerous nieces and nephews, cousins and a host of friends.

Kevin was preceded in death by his parents, Denis Rech (1957) and Geraldine Rech Prochaska (1978) and Joseph Prochaska (2001) and his brother, Allan Rech (1975) .
