Langdon "Paul" Green was born April 30th, 1951 in Seward, Nebraska, the son of Dr. Robert and Nancy (Baker) Green and passed away on December 1st, 2014, at the age of 63, in Omaha, NE. Paul was a 1969 Graduate of Seward High School and a 1975 Graduate of the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. He was a member of the Chi Phi Fraternity while attending school at UNL, majoring in Criminal Justice. Paul worked as a Corrections Officer and later in real-estate and investment in Omaha, NE. He returned to Seward in 2007 and enjoyed spending time with his parents in their final years, along with a beloved family pet, a Boxer, Brandy. Paul was an avid Husker fan and cheered on the team through good and poor seasons. He hardly ever missed a game. If he was not able to be at the stadium, he was close to the TV or radio. Paul was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Barbara Steinheider. Survivors include his children, Rebecca "Becky" Jacobs and spouse, Jeremiah "Jerry" Jacobs, Omaha and Matthew "Matt" Green and spouse, Erin Green, Madison, WI; friend and former wife, Mary Green, Omaha; granddaughter, Aubrey; brother-in-law, David Steinheider and spouse, Helen, Lincoln; nephew, Christopher Steinheider, Lincoln; niece, Jessa Steinheider, Lincoln; aunt, Betty McDermott, Kansas City, MO; cousins, Rick McDermott, Alan McDermott, Susan Dawson; neighbors and friends. Paul's family extends their appreciation to the Seward home-health care, staff members at the Douglas County Health Center in Omaha, NE where Paul resided for several months, and the medical team at the University of Nebraska Medical Center (UNMC-Nebraska Medicine).
