Obituary

Larry Ray Alley was born February 13, 1949 in Seward, Nebraska, the son of Richard Levi and Evangeline May (Craig) Alley and passed away at his home in Seward on January 22, 2017 at the age of 67 years, 11 months, 9 days. Larry was a 1967 graduate of Seward High School; he attended Southeast Community College for two years and worked for the City of Seward until 1972. He was employed at Kawasaki for 37 years, retiring in May of 2009. Larry was baptized in 1972 as one of Jehovah's Witnesses. Larry was united in marriage to Suzie C. Street on September 8, 1979 in Lincoln, Nebraska.

Larry was preceded in death by his father, Richard Alley and his son, Loren L. Alley.

Larry is survived by his wife, Suzie Alley, Seward; mother, Evangeline Alley, Seward; his sisters and brothers-in-law, Pat and Leon Wakeley, Crofton and Sandy and Bill Hladky, Schuyler; aunt, Verneal Burkey, Seward; children, Lori Graves, Seward, Susan Engel, Chicago, Illinois, Shannon Lawce, Gadsden, Alabama; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews; cousins; brother-in-law, Clyde and Cathy Street, Lincoln; and sisters-in-law, Lynette Cipriano, Velda Jean and Shane Stone, Oneta and Lee Lambert, all of Lincoln.
