one hour prior to the service at the church on Friday

Larry Eugene Wentink was born on November 28, 1941 in Lincoln, Nebraska to Ovad Orvil "Kelly" and Ferris Blanche (Lindholm) Wentink and passed away at home in Seward, Nebraska on April 26, 2011 at the age of 69 years, 4 months, 28 days. Larry was a 1959 graduate of Lincoln High School in Lincoln, Nebraska and he attended the University of Nebraska in Lincoln. Larry began employment as a janitor with Lincoln Telephone and Telegraph and worked his way up to the position of area manager in Seward, Nebraska; he retired with 33 years of service; he was also manager of Radio Shack in Seward. Larry was united in marriage to Linda Marie (Alt) Holland on February 12, 2010.
Larry was a former member of the Nebraska Diplomats; he was an active member and past president of many organizations, the Seward Chamber of Commerce, Milford Chamber of Commerce, Seward Rotary Club and Milford Jaycees. He was one of the original members of the Rebels Auto Club.
Larry is preceded in death by his parents, Ovad Orvil "Kelly" and Blanche Wentink and his grandson, Joshua Grimes.
Larry is survived by his wife, Linda Wentink of Seward; daughters and sons-in-law, Stacy and Mike Brown of Lincoln, Julie and Todd Curtright of Elkhorn, and Laurie Wentink of Glenwood, Iowa; his step-daughters and son-in-law, Angela and Mike Mueller of Lincoln and Stephanie Holland of Bentonville, Arkansas; eight grandchildren, Amanda, Lindsey and Cody Curtright, Kelly Grimes, Traci Wentink, Trenton and Trevor Brown, William Mueller; one great-grandson, Louie Lujan; sister and brother-in-law, Carole and David Will of Lincoln; niece, nephews and many friends.
