Obituary
Laurie was a 1979 graduate of Raymond Central High School. On July 2, 1983, she was united in marriage to Daniel Joseph Kadavy at the Sunken Gardens in Lincoln, Nebraska. Their marriage was blessed with three children, Chastity, Autumn and Aaron. Laurie was employed at Tenneco in Seward for five years, working until October 30, 2015. Laurie attended Assumption Catholic Church in Dwight. Her hobbies were flowers, gardening, collecting antiques and spending time with her family.
Laurie is preceded in death by her father, Kenneth Novotny; nephew, Kevin Dudek; nieces, Daisy Novotny and Annette Kabourek; her parents-in-law, Joseph and Marie Kadavy and sister-in-law, Judy Kabourek.
Laurie is survived by her husband, Daniel J. Kadavy, Dwight; children, Chastity and Pat Donahue, Autumn and Todd Mailand, Aaron Kadavy, all Valparaiso; mother, JoAnn Novotny, Valparaiso; grandchildren, Ella Donahue, Cain Donahue, Bailey Mailand, Mason Anderson; siblings, Cindy and Gary Dudek, Gary and Sandy Novotny, all Valparaiso, Diane and Tim Swinscoe, Lincoln; sisters-in-law and spouses, Mary Jo and Dale Buhl, Lindsay, Charlene and Bob Havlovic, Brainard, Kathy and Darrell Kubik, Lincoln; brother-in-law, Ernie Kabourek, Brainard; many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. To this obituary we add our thoughts, prayers and memories of life shared with Laurie.
