Lazar Gligorevic was born on April 27, 1930 in Bradina, Bosnia & Herzgovina to Djordjo and Stoja (Djorjic) Gligorevic and passed away in Seward, Nebraska on January 14, 2011 at the age of 80 years, 8 months, and 17 days. Lazar attended school in Bradina and worked for many years as a railroad worker in Bosnia. He was united in marriage to Mitra Mrkajic and they moved to the United States in February of 1997. Lazar is a member of the Serbian Orthodox Church in Omaha, NE Lazar was preceded in death by his parents, Djordjo and Stoja (Djordjic) Gligorevic and his two brothers, Todor and Ljubo Gligorevic Survivors include his wife, Mitra,of Seward, his son, Momir Gligorevic of Seward, his daughters and sons-in-law, Bora and Goran Simanic of Lincoln and Mira and Bosko Micic of Serbia; and his 3 grandchildren, Dragan Simanic, Mladen Simanic and Marko Micic |
