Leanna A. (Hinze) Nagel of Seward, formerly of Goehner, Nebraska was born on October 31, 1928, to George and Emma (Bredehoft) Hinze and passed away on December 21, 2022, in Seward, Nebraska at the age of 94 years, 1 month and 21 days.

Leanna volunteered at the Veterans Hospital for several years as well as various organizations throughout her life. She was a proud member of the Beaver Crossing Auxiliary. She taught her children to, 'make work fun; then it would never seem like work.' Leanna had a lot of fun because she worked hard. She loved spinning around a dance floor with Willard and was always up for a game of cards with anyone who was up for the challenge. Leanna had a strong faith and drew strength from knowing God was in control.

Survivors cherishing her memory include her son and daughter-in-law, David and Marge Nagel, Goehner; daughters and sons-in-law, Joyce Hoppe, Seward, Bonnie and Kevin Lee, Sparta, WI, Nancy and Layne Hans, Seward; 10 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and 10 great-great-grandchildren.
