LeRoy Albert Kilburn, Jr. was born on May 2, 1955, in Lincoln to LeRoy Albert and Monna Lea (Sovereign) Kilburn, Sr. and passed away on September 18, 2019, in Lincoln at the age of 64 years, 4 months and 16 days.

LeRoy grew up in Lincoln where he attended school. He enlisted in the U.S. Army on June 25, 1976 and was honorably discharged on December 23, 1977. LeRoy worked at various jobs in construction around the Lincoln area. He enjoyed watching The Price is Right, Gunsmoke and watching or listening to Nebraska Cornhuskers football.

He was preceded in death by his parents; life-long companion, Anna Parrish.

LeRoy is survived by his daughter, Lisa Doeden and husband David, Seward; five grandchildren, Brittany and Breanna, Arizona, Bethany, and Savannah, Seward, Malikai, Utica; three sisters,  Theresa Robison, Brenda Wade (Jerry Jetter), Sheila Henery, all of Lincoln; uncle, Dwayne (Debbie) Sovereign, Lincoln; many other aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. His chosen family, Marcie Dieken; her daughter and granddaughters, Amanda Gladson, Hailey and Janessa Dieken and a host of friends.
