1:00 to 8:30 P.M. Sunday, March 9, 2008
at Wood-Zabka Funeral Home - Seward
with family greeting friends 6:30 to 8:00 P.M.
and one hour prior to the service at the church on Monday

INTERMENT
Monday, March 10, 2008
Burial will take place at the Ulysses Township Cemetery following the Funeral Service

LeRoy Charles Kratochvil was born March 1, 1944 in Seward, Nebraska to Nick and Libbie (Baus) Kratochvil and passed away in David City, Nebraska on March 7, 2008 at the age of 64 years, 6 days.
LeRoy was a graduate of David City High School. He was united in marriage to Carol Priess in 1972 and they have made their home in the Ulysses area all of their married life. LeRoy joined Grace Lutheran Church in Seward in 1977. LeRoy was a lifelong farmer and a longtime member of the Ulysses Volunteer Fire Department and the Ulysses Township Board. He enjoyed deer hunting and raising Belgian Horses.
LeRoy was preceded in death by his parents, Nick and Libbie Kratochvil; two infant brothers, Roy and Gerald; three brothers-in-law, Eugene Kadavy, Merv Kirkpatrick and Leland Wullenwaber and his mother-in-law, Norma Priess.
LeRoy is survived by his wife, Carol Kratochvil of Ulysses and his siblings and their spouses, Eugene and Elaine Kratochvil of Ulysses, Marcie and Ray Buller of Utica, LaVerne Kadavy of Weston, Marge and Ron Miller of Omaha, Vernon and RaNay Kratochvil of Beaver Crossing, Larry and Sue Kratochvil of Ulysses, Donna and Don Moravec of David City, Donald Kratochvil of Ulysses; Gary and Lori Kratochvil of Ulysses and Patricia Kirkpatrick of Utica; his sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Donna and Morris Drake of Lincoln, Valera and Dwayne Otte of Seward and Norma and Don Sronce of Lincoln; father-in-law, Theodor Priess and his friend, Ann Fisher of Cedar Creek; many nieces, nephews and cousins and a host of friends. To this obituary we add our thoughts, prayers and memories of life shared with LeRoy.
