Lester William Schulz was born April 12, 1936 in Seward, Nebraska to William Adolf August and Sophie Wilhelmina (Tiemann) Schulz and passed away on March 31, 2007 in Seward, Nebraska at the age of 70 years, 11 months, 19 days. Lester attended school in Garland. On April 18, 1954 he was united in marriage to Carol Ann Lueth in Garland, Nebraska. This union was blessed with four children, Denise, Michael Mickey, Cindy and Lynda. The family lived near Seward on a farm and moved into Seward in the early 1960's. Lester was first a farmer and then drove a semi truck. He was the owner of Schulz Agri Contractors. Lester was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Seward and the Seward Fraternal Order of Eagles. Lester was preceded in death by his parents, William and Sophie Schulz and his sister, Alma Warnsholz. Lester is survived by his children and spouses, Denise Stutzman of Brentwood, CA, Michael Mickey and Sonja Schulz of Mound, MN, Cindy and Richard Werner of Minnetonka, MN and Lynda Atherton of Modesto, CA; eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters-in-law, Marvin and Olinda Schulz of Seward, Edwin and Nora Schulz of Seward; sisters and brothers-in-law, Leona and Harvey Beckman of Fort Wayne, Indiana and Bernice and Virgil Lange of Malcolm; nieces and nephews; great-nieces and great-nephews; other relatives and a host of friends. To this obituary we add our thoughts, prayers and memories of life shared with Lester. |
