Lietha Louise (Nienhueser) Prochnow was born October 5, 1914 in Benedict, Nebraska to Franz and Amalia (Alms) Nienhueser and passed away on February 19, 2008 in Seward, Nebraska at the age of 93 years, 4 months, 14 days. On October 16, 1938, Lietha was united in marriage to Oscar George Ernst Prochnow at St. Paul's Church, rural York. Their union was blessed with six children. Lietha was a member of St. John Lutheran in Seward and was formerly a member of Ladies Aid. Preceding Lietha in death were her parents, Franz and Amalia Nienhueser; her husband, Oscar Prochnow in 1991; son, Darrel Prochnow; granddaughter, Sarah Jean Prochnow; son-in-law, Noel Eberspacher; brothers and sister-in-law, Ernst and Elinore Nienhueser, Amos Nienhueser and Erwin Nienhueser. Lietha was a loving mother and is survivied by her children and their spouses, Norman and Ruby Prochnow of Alexandria, Minnesota, Marilyn Eberspacher of Gresham, Dean and Patricia Prochnow of Lincoln, Stanley and Karen Prochnow of Seward, and Shirley Prochnow of Raytown, Missouri; her grandchildren and their spouses, ShaRhae and Matthew Matousek, Leta Jo and Kade Brey, Melissa and Mohsen Ahan, Patrick and Breanna Prochnow, Jacob Prochnow, Jaimee Prochnow; great-grandchildren, Noah, Jonah and Emma Matousek; Ruth, Armon, Mahtob, Reza and Farzaneh Ahan and Ella Prochnow; her sister, Erna Nienhueser of York; sister-in-law, Dorothy Nienhueser of York and a host of friends. To this obituary we add our thoughts, prayers and memories of life shared with Lietha. |
