Linda Aguilar Earnest was born in the Philippines to Fermin and Rosario Tergot and passed away on Sunday, December 1, 2024. She moved to the United States in 1962. She was united in marriage to Ben Earnest on November 14, 1972, and they moved to Nebraska in 1973.
Linda provided daycare in her home and touched the lives of many children throughout the years. She loved being outdoors in her flower garden, with roses being her favorite flower. Linda loved going to Bingo and taking trips to Las Vegas. One of her favorite games was Majong, which she taught her grandchildren to play. She found great joy in watching her grandchildren play sports and was their biggest fan. She enjoyed listening to music, dancing and watching cowboys on T.V., with her bottle of Coca-Cola and bag of Lay's potato chips.
Linda was a member of the bowling league in Seward. She was also a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents; mother and father-in-law, Dorothy and LaVern Earnest; daughter, Dora Higgins; son, LeRoy Higgins; brother-in-law, LaVern C. Earnest; brothers, Claudio and Teofilo Tergot.
Survivors cherishing her memory include her husband, Ben Earnest; grandchildren, whom she raised, James Bianco and Janee Bianco and significant other, Dale Murphy; children, Lang, KK and husband, Gary and John Edward; sister-in-law, Judy Earnest; grandchildren, Cory, Antonio, Tylor, Allan, Nolan, Jonathan, Mallary, Devin, Seany, Whisper, Grady, Brody, Marilyn, Lai Lai and Marvin; great-grandchildren, great great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
A special thank you to the Tabitha Hospice team and KK, for their support over the past year. A very special thank you to Janee, Angellina and son, Waylon and TK for all your help, time and extra care in her life. You have all been such a blessing.
