Loretta Ann (Slama) Jisa Hotovy was born June 8, 1934 near Bee, Nebraska to Louis Frank and Anna (Kolar) Slama and passed away in Lincoln, Nebraska on February 8, 2013 at the age of 78 years and 8 months. Loretta was a graduate of Dwight Public School and attended Concordia Teachers College in Seward. She taught school for a short time. Loretta was united in marriage to Raymond E. Jisa in Loma, Nebraska in 1953 and their marriage was blessed with three children~Ray, Leonard and Cindy. Ray passed away in 1967. Loretta was the bookkeeper for Al's Repair for many years. Loretta and Alan J. Hotovy were together for 40 years and were united in marriage in Omaha, Nebraska on January 22, 2011. Alan passed away on March 25, 2011. Loretta was a member of the Dwight American Legion Auxiliary and a 50+ year member of ZCBJ Lodge. She was a loyal supporter of the Dwight Volunteer Fire Department. Loretta is preceded in death by her parents, Louis and Anna Slama; her husbands, Raymond Jisa and Alan Hotovy. Loretta is survived by her children and spouses, Ray and Marla Jisa, Seward, Leonard and Lineah Jisa, Valparaiso, Cindy Allen, Dwight; ten grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren and a host of friends.
