Lorraine Marie (Policky) Rezac was born December 21, 1948 to Leonard J. and Wilma (Pelan) Policky in Bee, Nebraska and passed away on Thursday, March 11, 2010 in Seward, Nebraska at the age of 61 years, 2 months, 21 days. Lorraine grew up in the rural Bee and Loma, Nebraska area. She was a 1967 graduate of East Butler High School. She was united in marriage to Elmer Rezac on August 8, 1970 at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church in Bee. Elmer passed away on November 16, 1988. Lorraine worked part time at Husker Bar in Brainard and she also was a waitress in Dwight. Lorraine served as the primary babysitter through the years for nearly all of her nieces and nephews either in their homes or at her home by Bee. Lorraine was a simple person who was content with going places locally, enjoying dances with her nephews bands performing, attending fish fries, church festivals, summer parades and visiting with local friends. Lorraine is preceded in death by her husband, Elmer Rezac; her parents, Leonard and Wilma Policky; her brothers, Vic Policky, Ed Policky, and Eldon Policky. Lorraine is survived by her brothers and sisters-in-law, Don and Kathy Policky, Seward, Les and Theresa Policky, Acworth, GA, Bob Policky, Pleasant Dale; sisters-in-law, Amy Policky, Dwight, Jan Policky, Pleasant Dale; sister and brother-in-law, Dorothy and Fred Vanis, Ulysses; many nieces, nephews and friends. To this obituary we add our thoughts, prayers, and memories of life shared with Lorraine. |
