In Loving Memory of Louise C. Bauer Louise Christine (Willers) Bauer was born to John and Louise (Brinkmeyer) Willers on March 18, 1911 at Seward, Nebraska and passed from this life on October 16, 2009 at the age of 98 years, 6 months, 30 days. She was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran Church at Seward. Louise attended rural school and was one of the first students from that district to attend Seward High School and graduated in 1927. She taught in a rural school near Seward for two years. On October 30, 1930, Louise was united in marriage to Fred G. Bauer. They were the parents of two children, Bob and Joan. They lived and farmed near Seward. Louise, a homemaker, enjoyed sewing and reading. She was a member of Friedens United Church of Christ for 76 years. Louise is preceded in death by her parents, John and Louise Willers; her husband, Fred Bauer; Fred's parents; an infant brother and her brother, Fred Willers; sisters and brothers-in-law, Vera and Carl Rolfsmeier, Dorothy and Les Viets, Mildred and Walter Meinberg; daughter-in-law, Beryl Bauer and great-great-grandson, Konner Graves. Louise is survived by her son, Bob Bauer of Seward; daughter and son-in-law, Joan and George Allen of Lexington; six grandchildren and spouses, Steve and Carlene Bauer of Seward, Karen and Mark Werner of Waco, Mark and Michelle Allen of Lexington, Patti and Mike Maguire of Lexington, Les Allen and Ellen Ondrak of Oconto, Jodi and Scott Hultquist of Silverdale, WA; twelve great-grandchildren, Travis Hultquist, Abby Hultquist, Jenna and Bryan Fast, Tonya and Josh Meyers, Katherine Bauer, Megan Werner, Micala Allen, Christine Bauer, Rose Allen, Max Maguire, Elliot Maguire, Zoie Allen; and one great-great-grandchild, Jaren Meyers; nieces and nephews and a host of friends. To this obituary we add our thoughts, prayers and memories of life shared with Louise. |
