Lowell "Blaine" Schneider Jr. was born on September 22, 1961 in Henderson, NE; to Lowell Blaine and Helen (Steinmetz) Schneider Sr. and passed away on November 30, 2012 in Utica at the of 51 years, 2 months and 8 days. Blaine grew up and attended school in York. He later moved to Lincoln where he lived for most of his life. He enjoyed listening to music and reading. After he was diagnosed with ALS in January of this year he moved to the Utica Community Care Center. Blaine was baptized, confirmed and served his first communion on October 28, 2012 at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Utica. Blaine is survived by his mother, Helen Dallas of McCool Junction, NE; father, Lowell B. Schneider Sr. of Warminster, PA; sisters, Nancy (Tim) Brisk of Henderson, NE; and Deborah Schneider (Steve Whitlock) of Kailua Kona, HI; niece, Michele Blum (Charles Wertz) of Walton, NE; and aunts, uncles, and cousins. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Alvin B. and Margaret Bernice Schneider, Johann & Katherina Steinmetz.
