Amy Lucille (Morrison) Stoddard was born March 31, 1926 in Natural Bridge, New York to Louis Michael Patrick Morrison and Kathryn (Millmore) Morrison and passed away in Seward, Nebraska on May 17, 2014 at the age of 88 years, 1 month, 17 days. Lucille attended school in Natural Bridge, New York. She was united in marriage to H. Richard "Dick" Stoddard on October 4, 1946 in Lowville, New York. Their marriage was blessed with two children, Dean and Deb. In 1958, the family moved to Seward, Nebraska and Lucille continued to make her home in Seward after Dick's death in 2007. Lucille was a member of the Seward United Methodist Church. She was a longtime employee of Herpolsheimers in Seward, as parts manager. She and Dick made quite a pair in their many years together at Herpolsheimers. Lucille is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Dick; sisters, Lois Booth, Kathryn Kaufman, Patricia Swann; and brother, John Patrick Morrison. Survivors include son, Dean Stoddard of Tucson, AZ and his special friend, Maureen Kelly; daughter and son-in-law, Deb and Gordon Evert, Lincoln; grandchildren and spouses, Jennifer and Jon Wallwey, Jamieson and Dan Fredrick, Chad and Meredith Evert, Casey Stoddard, Colleen McAllister Smith and Colin Smith; great grandchildren, Alex, Delaney and Connor Wallwey, Stephen Arens, McKenna, Carsen and Alexis Evert.; sister, Arlene Farmer, Denver, CO; fulltime companion of many years, Presley, better known as "Dick's dog" and a host of friends.
