Lucille Marie (Janousek) Tichy was born May 18, 1933 in Brainard, Nebraska to Emil Joe and Mary Rose (Nevole) Janousek and passed away in Seward, Nebraska on November 18, 2007 at the age of 74 years, 6 months. Lucille attended school in Brainard, Dwight, Weston and David City. She worked at the Egg Plant in David City prior to her marriage. On July 23, 1953, Lucille was united in marriage to Frank Louis Tichy at Assumption Catholic Church in Dwight. To this union four children were born, Lawrence, Doug, Connie and Bonnie. They lived all of their married life in the Dwight and Bee area. Lucille was a member of St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church in Bee and also was active with the Altar Society. Lucille loved to dance, polka, and play bingo. She was preceded in death by her parents, Emil and Mary Rose Janousek and her brothers, Alfred and Richard Janousek. Lucille is survived by her husband, Frank L. Tichy of Bee; her children, Lawrence Tichy of Bee, Doug Tichy of Bee, Connie Guiney of Raymore, Missouri, and Bonnie Tichy of Bee. Other survivors include her brothers and sisters-in-law, Emil and Mary Janousek and Dennis Janousek all of Bee, Leonard and Nancy Janousek of Weston; her sisters and brother-in-law, Delores and Ronnie Nimps and Darlene Zikmund, all of Omaha; sister-in-law, Roberta Janousek of Seward; two grandchildren, Amanda and Tony Guiney and one great-grandson, Corey Guiney; nieces and nephews and a host of friends. To this obituary we add our thoughts, prayers and memories of life shared with Lucille. |
