Margaret (Lindner) Suellwold was born March 17, 1923 in Seward County, near Pleasant Dale, Nebraska to Godfrey and Sophie (Sieck) Lindner and was baptized at home on the day of her birth. She attended Country School District No. 64 and high school at Pleasant Dale and Seward. On March 21, 1937, Margaret was confirmed at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Pleasant Dale. Margaret was married to Chester Appenzeller Suellwold on October 26, 1941 at the Lutheran Church parsonage in Pleasant Dale. Their marriage was blessed with three children, Doug, Susan and Jan. They farmed for several years at Emerald, Nebraska before moving to Garland in 1956. Margaret was a bookkeeper at Seward Coop and Garland Propane before retiring. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Garland, Ladies Aid and LWML. Margaret passed away on September 12, 2015 in Seward, Nebraska at the age of 92 years, 5 months, 26 days. Margaret was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Chester in 1999; grandson, Jeff Vollstedt; son-in-law, Karl Hoehler; brother, Leo Lindner and wife Alice; sisters, Norma and husband Bob Allan; twin sister, Elma and husband Bud Fischer. Margaret is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Doug and LeAnn Suellwold, Garland; daughters and son-in-law, Susan and Arlen Vollstedt, Garland and Jan Hoehler, Garland; grandchildren, Robb and Laura Suellwold, Michelle and Troy Schaefer, Jennifer and Jason Brase, Melissa and Chuck Haase, Julie and Chad Phillips, Janelle and Travis Schaefer, K.C. Hoehler, Kelsey Hoehler, Scott Bolejack and Rob Bolejack; 19 great-grandchildren; one great great grandson; sisters-in-law, Anita Lindner and Doris Ahrens and brother-in-law, Landis Borchers; nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
