Marial Jean Sanley was born on September 3, 1927, in Ulysses, Nebraska to Francis and Clara (White) Pollock and passed away on October 22, 2015, in Elkhorn, Nebraska at the age of 88 years, 1 month and 20 days. Jean grew up in Ulysses where she attended school and graduated with the class of 1945. After school Jean began working for the State of Nebraska. On September 12, 1948, Jean married John "Jack" Sanley at the Ulysses United Methodist Church. Their marriage was blessed with three children, Linda, Jeanie and Kip. Jean and Jack owned and operated the Sportsman Bar in Ulysses for 30 years. She was also an Avon saleswoman for many years. Jean loved Nebraska football, fishing and spending time with her family and friends. She was a long time member of the Ulysses United Methodist Church. Jean was preceded in death by her parents, husband Jack on February 16, 2012, and her son-in-law, Norbert Albelo. Survivors include her three children, Linda Albelo of Bar Nunn, WY; Jeanie and husband Bruce Winter of Omaha, NE; and Kip and wife Marsha Sanley of Elkhorn, NE; seven grandchildren, Nicholas Albelo, Jonathan Albelo, Justin and wife Krystal Winter, Emily and husband Matt Hamilton, John and wife Danielle Winter, John Sanley and Jay Sanley; four great grandchildren, Harper Winter, Graycen Winter, Jaden Winter and Samuel Hamilton, sister, Helen and husband Lyle Dunker of Seward, NE; and brother Bob and wife Doris of Lincoln, NE; nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
