Marie Emma (Nobbman) Dargel was born January 20, 1918 near Garland, Nebraska to Henry and Martha (Meinche) Nobbman and passed away on July 19, 2006 in Seward, Nebraska at the age of 88 years, 5 months, 30 days. Marie was confirmed on March 29, 1931 by Rev. Merz. She attended Immanuel Lutheran School in Garland. On April 30, 1943, Marie was united in marriage to Julius William Dargel. Marie was a homemaker and farm wife. She was a lifelong member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, rural Seward. Marie was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Martha Nobbman; her brother-in-law, Leo Schinkel; and brother-in-law and sister-in-law, John and Selma Dargel. She is survived by her husband, Julius Dargel, Pleasant Dale; her sister, Amanda Schinkel, Grand Island; nephews, Gary and Lyle Schinkel both of Grand Island; her niece and husband, Carol and Jack Pedersen, Grand Island; sister-in-law, Frieda Dargel, Seward; other relatives and friends.
