Marilyn Flora (Frank) Haynes was born July 23, 1932 in Seward, Nebraska to Henry and Helen (Johann) Frank and passed away in Lincoln, Nebraska on October 24, 2010 at the age of 78 years, 3 months, 1 day. Marilyn was a 1950 graduate of Seward High School. On August 7, 1955, she was united in marriage to Elwin Haynes at the United Church of Christ in Goehner, Nebraska. Their marriage was blessed with four children, Randy, Scott, Cindy and Kathy. Marilyn was a longtime member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Milford where she was active with many committees. Marilyn also was a home health aide, assisting with the care of many in her community. Marilyn is preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Helen Frank; a grandson, Brandon Taylor; and her brother, Gilbert Frank. Marilyn's survivors, left to cherish her memory include, her husband, Elwin Haynes of Milford; sons and daughters-in-law, Randy and Ellen Haynes of San Antonio, Texas, Scott and Susan Haynes of Lincoln; daughters and sons-in-law, Cindy and Chad Lawrenz of Lincoln and Kathy and Dan Stukenholtz of Brock; nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; her sister, Irma Rosberg of Omaha; sister-in-law, Doris Frank of Seward; many nieces and nephews and a host of friends. To this obituary we add our thoughts, prayers, and memories of life shared with Marilyn. |
